Pool Remodel

May 11th, 2007

PoolA little over a month ago Annie and I decided to remodel the swimming pool since we knew it needed to be replaster already. We wanted to see some improvements on it so we have added a “weeping wall”, which is similar to a waterfall but smaller, new flagstone copping, tile, and finished it out with Pebble Tec in the Tahoe Blue. This configuration took us away from the basic red brick, blue tile, white plaster pool and gave us a look of natural stone, rocks, and a lagoon type look and atmosphere. We also converted the water to a salt saline solution, which included replacing the filter with a fiberglass filter. Lastly we added a wireless remote control system that will handle the lights, cleaner, spa and pool return, heater, and the weeping wall. The remodel started earlier this week and is almost, probably finished early next week. It is going to take a while to fill :)
